June 16, 2020 - The Port-la-Nouvelle extension project in France was initiated in December 2019 after almost 10 years of studies. The APS brand provides it with moulds for armour units and a carousel directly imported from Calais. It is a perfect example of material reconditioning for equipment recycling, which gives a second life to this carousel.

LAST APS ARMOUR UNIT FOR MAIN CALAIS BREAKWATER

February 20, 2019 - Back in 2016, APS conceived its second carousel for the production of armour units, which would later be used for the construction of a breakwater in Calais. The CALAIS PORT 2015 project, built on a European scale, aims to enlarge and refurbish the Calais port. Two years later, the project is about to end.

10 000th armour unit for APS automated plant in Calais

September 6, 2018 - At the end of 2016, APS delivered in France its second automated plant for the production of armour units, for the CALAIS PORT 2015 project. In July 2018, the plant cast its 10 000th armour unit out of 13 000 in total.

APS takes part in the building of the Tours-Bordeaux high speed line

July 21, 2017 - The Paris-Bordeaux high speed line was inaugurated on 2 July 2017. Introduced in 1992, it took more than 25 years for this project to become a reality. APS took part in 2 crucial points of this new high speed line, firstly by providing an automated noise barrier precast plant to Bonna Sabla, then by providing sleeper moulds to Stradal.

APS provides an armour unit carousel in Aberdeen, Scotland

July 21, 2017 - After the armour unit automated plant success in Calais and La Réunion Island. APS signed its third contract to design and produce an automated Accropode II plant in Aberdeen, Scotland.
The carousel should be built up by the end of 2017 and the armour unit production will start straight away.
