June 16, 2020 - The Port-la-Nouvelle extension project in France was initiated in December 2019 after almost 10 years of studies. The APS brand provides it with moulds for armour units and a carousel directly imported from Calais. It is a perfect example of material reconditioning for equipment recycling, which gives a second life to this carousel.
September 17, 2019 - This exhibition represents for APS the opportunity to meet with companies of the coastal engineering sector and to demonstrate its skills for the production of armour units. The sales team counts on this selected exhibition to showcase its expertise on projects in preparation.
February 20, 2019 - Back in 2016, APS conceived its second carousel for the production of armour units, which would later be used for the construction of a breakwater in Calais. The CALAIS PORT 2015 project, built on a European scale, aims to enlarge and refurbish the Calais port. Two years later, the project is about to end.
December 18, 2018 - Since the success of the automated plant for the new Coastal Road in La Réunion in 2014, ACIMEX and APS have renewed the operation on the Aberdeen site or more recently for the Calais Port project : providing a full proposal to their client, which includes a carousel and tailored equipment.
October 2, 2018 - APS exhibits at its first show in North America in 2019, the PRECAST SHOW, and becomes a member of the NPCA association, which gathers major actors of the concrete precast industry.
September 6, 2018 - At the end of 2016, APS delivered in France its second automated plant for the production of armour units, for the CALAIS PORT 2015 project. In July 2018, the plant cast its 10 000th armour unit out of 13 000 in total.
June 18, 2018 - APS last two automated plant projects were successful, facilitating the production of very heavy and large concrete elements. Its third project, in Aberdeen, is looking promising as well.
April 17, 2018 - APS attendance at the BIG 5 HEAVY exhibition, taking place in Dubaï on March 26 to 28, allowed the company to affirm its optimistic vision on the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) economic development.
February 28, 2018 - APS will travel to Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, on March 26-28 2018 in order to participate in the BIG 5 HEAVY exhibition, in the CONCRETE area.
September 4, 2017 - APS attended the event organized by the ICE - Institution of Civil Engineers in early September 2017. ICE Breakwaters, specialised in coastal infrastructures, occurs every two years and brings to light improvements and innovations in this domain.
July 21, 2017 - The Paris-Bordeaux high speed line was inaugurated on 2 July 2017. Introduced in 1992, it took more than 25 years for this project to become a reality. APS took part in 2 crucial points of this new high speed line, firstly by providing an automated noise barrier precast plant to Bonna Sabla, then by providing sleeper moulds to Stradal.
July 21, 2017 - After the armour unit automated plant success in Calais and La Réunion Island. APS signed its third contract to design and produce an automated Accropode II plant in Aberdeen, Scotland.
The carousel should be built up by the end of 2017 and the armour unit production will start straight away.
July 21, 2017 - In 2014, APS suggested the use of automation for the production of armour units on the “New Littoral Road” project. SCPR decided to trust APS on this and agreed to build the very first armour unit automated precast plant in La Réunion.
